Watch Guide: Week 6

Sean added two games to his early lead with the help of Baylor and Alabama last weekend. This week we have a series of toss-up games that will (hopefully) shake things up for us. As it stands:

Sean: 16-8   JK: 11-13

The Miami game is inconveniently the same time as UF and Mizzou. If you are going to the game you will still have a few matchups to keep an eye on and you can also catch the end of the fighting Goffs of Cal visiting Utah. Here's the eight we'll be paying the most attention to:

Here's Greg Jones running over Sean Taylor. Don't know how we lived without HD.

#10 Oklahoma (4-0) vs Texas (1-4) 12:00 ABC
The Red River Rivalry has gone Oklahoma's way 4 of the last 5 years. Texas is really a tough program to watch right now and the Sooner's are on a roll behind the arm of Baker Mayfield (1,382 yards, 13 TD, 3 Int this season). The Longhorns should be fired up to play this game and save their manhood, possibly pulling off the upset like they did in 2013.
Who to root for and why: Texas, you have to feel for this team and for Charlie Strong, and it would move us up.

#13 Northwestern (4-0) at #18 Michigan (4-1) 3:30 Big Ten Network
This is a game that I am really intrigued by as both of the teams have been surprises in the early part of this season. Northwestern handed Duke its only loss a few weeks ago and Michigan's only loss has come to #5 Utah. Since that opening night loss, Michigan has outscored opponents 122-14. Northwestern RB Justin Jackson is averaging 127.2 yards/game and will face the 2nd-ranked defense in the country. The winner of this game will be in the driver's seat in the Big Ten West race.
W2R4&Y: This game does not effect FSU hardly at all but Northwestern defeated Duke who is emerging as a contender for the ACC title. If NW wins, that loss will look better for the Blue Devils and the ACC.

#19 Georgia (4-1) at Tennessee (2-3) 3:30 CBS
Georgia was completely obliterated at home last weekend by a pissed off Alabama team. They'll be looking to bounce back behind their savior Nick Chubb who would've been held under 100 yards for the first time all season had he not broke away for an 83-yard garbage time touchdown. Tennessee still hasn't beaten a Power 5 conference team but they've come within a score in all three tries.
W2R4&Y: Might as well root for Georgia in this one, it'll make UF's win over Tennessee look worse and hopefully give the Bulldogs some confidence heading closer to playing the Gators.
JK: Georgia   Sean:Tennessee

Georgia Tech (2-3) at #6 Clemson (4-0) 3:30 ABC/ESPN
The Tigers escaped a very good Notre Dame team last weekend in the rain and Georgia Tech continues to be a ramblin' WRECK. Clemson's defense is the real deal and the Yellow Jackets' triple option has not been very effective this season. That being said, if there's one thing we know about Clemson, it's that they love to lose games they shouldn't and this would be a perfect opportunity for just that.
W2R4&Y: Clemson. We want the Tigers to contend with the elite so when we spoil their season in Death Valley (again) it will be that much sweeter.
JK: Clemson   Sean: Clemson

#21 Oklahoma State (5-0) at West Virginia (3-1) 7:30 ESPN2
The last two weeks have been a little too exciting for the Cowboys. They escaped Texas by a missed field goal and Kansas State by a made field goal. West Virginia on the other hand is in the middle of a four game run in which they play four top 25 teams, this game being the most winnable. Oklahoma State leads the nation in sacks which could be the difference in this under-the-radar, exciting matchup.
W2R4&Y: This game doesn't affect us at all, root for the underdog.
JK: West Virginia Sean: Oklahoma State

#11 Florida (5-0) at Missouri (4-1) 7:30 SEC Network
The Gators are coming off their biggest win since at least 2012 when they beat #4 LSU in Death Valley. This team is not that team and Missouri is a team that is quietly having a nice season. The Tigers currently have the 8th-ranked defense in the country which could mean their defense is good, but it's more likely a result of the terrible competition they've played thus far. This game and probably every game of UF's season will depend on whether their quarterback Will Grier plays well.
W2R4&Y: Just root for Missouri to expose Grier to help us 'Noles sleep a little better at night.
JK: Missouri   Sean: Missouri

Miami (3-1) at #12 Florida State (5-0) 8:00 ABC
If Dalvin Cook plays in this game, it is a whole different story. The 'Canes are getting WR Stacey Coley back which will help out QB Brad Kayaa, who is by far the best quarterback we have faced this season. Florida State has cruised through the season up to this point and I'd like to think we see a more aggressive team this week with receivers that actually catch the ball. Miami-FSU is always exciting, especially when it's in front of a sold out Doak Campbell Stadium.
JK: Dalvin Cook   Sean: FSU

#23 California (5-0) at #5 Utah (4-0) 10:00 ESPN
I want to believe that this is Jared Goff's coming out party. Many people have already heard of him, but with a national stage to showcase what he's capable of, this is by far the biggest game he's played in. Utah is coming off of a bye week so they should be very prepared for the Goff-man, but hopefully this game turns into a shootout. This is a huge, huge game for Utah and side-armer Travis Wilson (513 yards, 4 TD, 1 Int in 2.5 games this season) to show the world that they can handle the spotlight coming off probably the biggest win in school history, dismantling Oregon.
W2R4&Y: California because Jared Goff and underdogs.
JK: Utah   Sean: Utah
